I only found out about 3-D animation AFTER I finished it. 

So maybe in the future I will make it even COOLER!

Can't say I'm surprised

I have decided to change for my typography project with a song rather than lines from a poem.
Sorry Maya Angelou, it's nothing personal. I sware!

The song I chose to go with is called Sleeping at Night by Caught A Ghost!
If you haven't heard it....You haven't been living correctly!
Haha ... No but seriously.

It's a fantastic song, jazzy, hip, and the lyrics are quite catchy as well.
Great song to work to and feel good.
I have attached the music video for you to hear it and see it's amazingness :)

Enjoy. I know I've heard this song about 138 times and still love it.


The part I chose for my typography project is the chorus:

And then march to the meaningless line up

TYPOGRAPHY WEEK

What is Typography?
 is the art and technique of arranging type in order to make language visible. The arrangement of type involves the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, leading (line spacing), adjusting the spaces between groups of letters (tracking) and adjusting the space between pairs of letters.

I chose a piece of a Poem
Phenomenal Woman
        by Maya Angelou

Here's the original Poem:

Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.

I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size   

But when I start to tell them,

They think I’m telling lies.

I say,

It’s in the reach of my arms,

The span of my hips,   

The stride of my step,   

The curl of my lips.   

I’m a woman

Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,   

That’s me.

I walk into a room

Just as cool as you please,   

And to a man,

The fellows stand or

Fall down on their knees.   

Then they swarm around me,

A hive of honey bees.

It’s the fire in my eyes,

I made this short little video on Flash.
What a project. In one week I had to redo it about three times. It was
time consuming. But to be honest it was a blast using Flash and Figuring out how to use it!

JEAN-CLAUDE Comes to life!

Finally the moment you have all been waiting for....

Jean-Claude is finally Here!

This stop motion animation was created with dragon effects, 

photoshop and the help of Ms. Corrigan!

I  have deviated a bit from my original idea, and animatic drawing.  

Reality settled in once I cut out  Jean Claude and 

started making him move to create the first few seconds. 

I have over 145+ Frames/Pictures to equal 19.5 seconds of animation. 

It's incredible to think every movement is broken down to create a 'realistic' looking character. 

There's a lot more to do to make it better, but with the limited amount of time, I think he turned out alright. 

More than alright :)
